The Road to SS Hundies: June 2008
http://dzm3.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
The Road to SS Hundies. Monday, June 2, 2008. Well, here it came and here it went. I don't want to talk much about it, but suffice to say, that I stupidly opted not to gear down and rode my normal 32X18, which combined with my lack of fitness at this point in the season, proved to be a bad bad choice. I thought I ran out of gas by the aid station #2 at mile 34, but was convinced by my buddy not to quit. By mile 46 at station #3 I was completely out of it, and thought I was about to die right there.

Sunday, June 26, 2005. 15:00 local US-Zeit (21:00 in D). Kurz nach Landung sofort aufs Klo, und nochmals gespuckt. Steig mal ...

Friday, June 29, 2007. It's Been a Bad 8 Days. I think it was in one of the Airplane movies - "I picked a bad week to quit drinking". Posted by ask at 7:57 PM. Thursday, June 21, 2007. Interesting question from teh police woman that came to investigate: Are you willing to prosecute? My answer: Hell yeah! Posted by ask at 7:41 PM. Tuesday, June 19, 2007. Not a big fan of Chain e-mails. One day a woman's husband died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the. Because we are worth it. I received this from so...

Kim & Dan's Excellent Adventures: December 2008
http://kimanddansexcellentadventures.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Kim and Dans Excellent Adventures. Monday, December 29, 2008. Back in the swing. Dan's parents had a small party on Saturday night so I packed up some of my stuff to stay the night over there instead of driving home later on in the night. We decided to head out to Pontiac Lake (my favorite local riding trail) to go on a hike with the dog.since it was 60 outside! It was dark and foggy but it still brought back good memories of riding on the fast singletrack. Patch loved the trail! First Born Dead Show.

Bradbury Mountain Enduro | Reenie
https://reeniecg.wordpress.com/2007/07/31/bradbury-mountain-enduro
Sunday Tom and I headed up to the fine state of Maine for a “short” race put on by the good folks at EFTA. One 30-mile loop through the trails of Bradbury Mountain State park. So when I tell you had fun at the Bradbury Mountain Enduro, you can figure it means I didn’t spend too much time in the pain cave (tm Andy. The singletrack dumped out onto a jeep trail and the course marshall there said “only a 100 yards to the finish! 8221; I said “get out! Laquo; Rocking the Big Wheels – Part III. Blog at WordPre...

The Road to SS Hundies: Wheel overlap - bad!
http://dzm3.blogspot.com/2008/09/wheel-overlap-bad.html
The Road to SS Hundies. Sunday, September 28, 2008. Wheel overlap - bad! So it's not a hundie, it's called a century. This weekend I joined a group of friend on MS150 City-to-Shore Multiple sclerosis fund raiser ride. It's set up as a 75 mile ride on Saturday from Philly area to Ocean City NJ, and 75 mile ride back on Sunday. However, on Saturday there is an optional 25 mile loop, to make it a full century, and a 175 mile weekend. Last year, and in black and white version this year. I did not want to hit...

The Road to SS Hundies: January 2008
http://dzm3.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
The Road to SS Hundies. Friday, January 11, 2008. One of the hazzards of a park in the middle of the city is that some parts of it are on top of old construction left over dumps, or park used city rejected fill to "fix" the trails at some point in the past. Other than that, it's too wet again to go out on the trails. Withdrawal. Friday, January 4, 2008. Don't send the rescue party out yet! The ride was awesome! Ok, so tonight we'll try it again! The registration is open for all the NUE series races. ...

You Can Never Have Too Many Lumens | Reenie
https://reeniecg.wordpress.com/2008/10/24/you-can-never-have-too-many-lumens
You Can Never Have Too Many Lumens. I used to hate night riding. The dark, the cold, the 75% reduction in my skill level (bringing me down to about 1.5 skills). I had so many bad night rides, I just gave up on night riding altogether. Then I got an expensive massage. The massage itself was the usual rate, but Nolan. Has to stimulate this economy! Wilderness 101 – Sixth Time’s a Charm. Short story: 11:05 on the SS – fastest finish ever for me. I spent most of the first 40 miles socializing. About a third of the way up the first climb, a guy on an SS asked if I had done this race before and if I minded if he rode along with me (we’ll call him Delaware, because I forgot his name about 3 seconds after he told me what it was). This exact same thing happened at Lumbejack! Him: It’s Paul. Him: We stayed at the same place. Laquo; What’s Up? Hey, so IR...
