Sunday, 30 September 2012. The free camp @ Kawhia roadhouse. Kawhia Beach. First time on a black sand beach in NZ very windy day, and to access the beach we have to walk up a sand dune. Really nice wide beach, with freezing water! In this spring weather! As you can see what we wearing in the picture means we not going into the water. During low tide, tourist dig up pools using a spade and soak in the hot thermal pools :) unfortunately, its not the low tide when we get there. 17metre high limestone arch!

Wednesday, 9 January 2013. 90 Miles Beach to Kauri Coast. Tapotupotu bay campsite - sunrising soon. We are leaving Cape Reinga today, traveling back south to Waipoua Forest. All the avocados you want! Of course, please pay in the box :). Avos has become one of our favourite breakfast, one spoonful of avo with a dot of nutella. mmm yums. Here we are at the 90 Miles Beach. Gosh endless beach, as its name suggest 90miles = 144.84KM long. Giant Kauri Staircase @ Ancient Kauri Kingdom. The tree climber =).

Friday, 31 August 2012. Stay at Bullara Station and Snorkelling@Coral Bay. At Bullara Station where we camped for a night, the miniature horses is so cute. He's waiting patiently for our pancakes. When we turn around to cook, he would take the chance to seize the pancake! Naughty. Grass is healthier for you mate! Another fat miniature horse at the station. Coral bay* * *. We thought we had enough snorkelling yesterday but when we see such beautiful water and reef, we just can't resist to snorkel again!

Friday, 30 November 2012. Mount Cook - Sealy Tarn Track. Yes, we are excited too! Making our way to Mount Cook today! From highway 8, turning into SH 80, we saw Mount Cook for the very first time. The road towards the tallest mountain of NZ, Mount Cook (world heritage listed) is so beautiful, with Lake Pukaki on the right hand side. But the weather forecast in NZ is always not so accurate :p The weather can change anytime, especially here at Mount Cook where the westerly winds blows towards the mountain.
