8 The downside of grain. One thing you can do to really jump-start your weight loss goals is to eliminate grain from your diet. Let's use cattle as an example. Ranchers use grain, and sometimes corn, to fatten their cattle. Any extra weight spells M-O-N-E-Y to the rancher. Unfortunately, grain does the same thing to humans.it fattens us up. It was a beautiful evening. I wore a sweatshirt and it was perfect. Lots of legislators cars parked all around the place. I guess they work late as this session winds down in its final days.
