Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Man-made Mahogany Forest, Bohol (Canon EOS50). If this is what EDSA looks like, I wouldn't mind the traffic at all! View from the Top. Wednesday, June 15, 2005. Loboc River, Bohol (Canon EOS50). I took this shot while on a hanging bridge. It required some great courage and luck. To take this picture. This became my fave shot from my Bohol series. Many of my friends said it's theirs too. Friday, June 10, 2005. Loboc River, Bohol (Canon EOS50). The rainy season kicks in!

Aybee's Blog: May 2008
http://ivycab.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
My day-to-day ten cents worth. Tuesday, May 27, 2008. The long planned mommies' outing finally realized last weekend. We went to Olavi's summer cottage at Hartola and enjoyed an all-filipino weekend - meaning we did nothing but cook Filipino food (except for Emily's nordic tomato and mozarella). We have been talking about what to cook, we actually ended up having a lot of ingredients with us. Here was our weekend menu. just writing them down make me want to do this again! Bilo-bilo (in short, tira-tira).

Aybee's Blog: 3 Birthdays in a row
http://ivycab.blogspot.com/2008/08/3-birthdays-in-row.html
My day-to-day ten cents worth. Monday, August 25, 2008. 3 Birthdays in a row. It's never been this hectic before. There are three of us in the family celebrating our birthdays on the same week (me on the 25th, Janina's 1st bday on the 28th then Joonas' on the 30th). It took us some time to decide should we have separate parties and who should we invite in each event. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. 3 Birthdays in a row. Aybee's Blog: Birthday Bash
http://ivycab.blogspot.com/2008/08/birthday-bash.html
My day-to-day ten cents worth. Sunday, August 31, 2008. I have been stressing about Janina's birthday party for the past two nights, and now it's finally over. There was a 95% attendance among the invitees, so we barely made everyone fit in the living room. It was a good idea splitting the guests in batches (family first then the friends afterwards). The cooking was also a huge success. I got a lot of praises for my "langhap sarap" a.k.a Jollibee tasting spaghetti (Salamat sa Banana Ketchup! Happy Birthd...

My day-to-day ten cents worth. Tuesday, December 25, 2007. Santa Clause Came to Town! And he did not bother to question it anymore. The kids were more than surprised. Which is an understatement) when they heard a knock at the door after the dinner, and out came Santa Clause! They were screaming and jumping for joy, I think Riitta and Olavi's place havent' been that noisy for almost 20 years. And just like the cookie making. The rest of the evening was spent telling stories, singing christmas songs, enjoy...

Aybee's Blog: How To Bake A Father's Day Apple Pie
http://ivycab.blogspot.com/2008/12/how-to-bake-fathers-day-apple-pie.html
My day-to-day ten cents worth. Monday, December 08, 2008. How To Bake A Father's Day Apple Pie. 1 Pick up the fallen pieces of apples from the table. Do this in a very slow motion so as not to distract mom from whatever she is doing. 2 Throw the pieces of apples to the flour mixture - QUIETLY. Wait for mom to put the mixture to the baking pan and wait for 20 minutes until ready. 3 Nam, nam! The finished product. Oh and act excited and surprised! Hahaha. you guys in town?
