For a diversion from the intense geo-political happenings that feel very close to us, I thought this clan might appreciate reading about one of the truly inspired and even brilliant pranks of late. On my scale, this trumps CalTech's prank on the HOLLYWOOD sign in 2003. Anybody with duct tape and some black tarps could have done that. And they didn't stop there, as later on they took a swipe at CalTech.

So here's what a guy does when he has the house to himself for the weekend. prep a 4 lb chicken for grilling, then set it on a half-empty can of beer.
