An ultra-distance fundraising effort for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Egg Hill and Tradition. I loved, as usual, the Egg Hill Run today. What a wonderful group of people, and the Penn's Valley track team is a great group to benefit. It was great to see the kids out there cheering on all of the runners. I'm not going to mince words. Give to JDRF. Now. Today. please! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Make a donation by clicking. Taken from the JDRF FACTS webpage.

An ultra-distance fundraising effort for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Okay, so I sort of false started last month. I've got a big goal and I started well with the MegaTransect one month ago, 26 miles the first day with 6,000 feet of elevation. Then, in typical fashion, I stopped. Quit. Not on purpose, but zilch nonetheless. So, here is the goal:. 750 miles of running with 133,400 feet of elevation gain. Along with. . . 1500 miles of bicycling. Let's get it started!

An ultra-distance fundraising effort for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Thursday, September 22, 2011. Here is what I'm thinking. I'm not very good at keeping my thoughts to myself. At least not very good when I'm trying to make an impact. I really want to make an impact. I can't say why that is except that I want to make a difference in a lot of lives, especially the life of my wife. I've got to say I'm glad I can't. Links to this post. An ultra-distance fundraising effort for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Monday, June 4, 2012. I ran the Rothrock Challenge 30K. The 2 " of rain on the night before the race really added to the adventure with ankle-sucking mud and knee-deep water holes to traverse. The rocks in most of the trail were stable, but the water/muck mixture really provided some excitement in a few spots. My only real regret is that I didn't get to meet Bryon Powell fro iRunFar.com. I saw the iRunFar bumper s...Taken...

http://jdrfrun.blogspot.com/2012/05/stick-around.html
An ultra-distance fundraising effort for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Wednesday, May 16, 2012. What a great day today at PFMS! Lots of kids showed their generosity, and maybe just a touch of mischievousness, by duct taping several teachers to a wall during lunch. Thanks to all of those kids and teachers who were so giving of their time, attention, and money, to help raise money in the search for a cure. You can check out the photos on the PFMS homepage. The weather looks even better than it...
