Designed and built by Carrs Locomotives. The full size BCR 6001 is a permanent resident in our park. Designed to work in coal haul service on the Tumbler Subdivision of the former BC Railway BCR 6001 is the only locomotive remaining of the seven 50 KV electric locomotives built by GM in 1982. A few hours at Ferguson Lake Nature Reserve, this is the largest lake in the boundaries of Prince George BC and a great place to view water fowl and wild flowers and maybe even get a glance of the Beavers. Be sure to check out the signs as they tell of a bygone area and local history.
