53" x 32" x 19". My work consists of designs created on a foundation of recycled metal heightened by coatings and coverings which are picked to accentuate the sculpture. The metal I use is found materials. The pieces are chosen because they exude a distinct and significant impression to the observer after they are worked on by cutting, forging and welding. I arrange this material to fit into an overall pattern to create a sculpture giving a combination of impressions which blend and harmonize.

Stainless steel, painted steel, gold leaf, amethyst. 28" x 32" x 28". I am concerned with the concept of design, the quality of workmanship, and, for those pieces destined to be displayed outdoors, compatibility with the environment. Creation of these sculptures is a source of great pleasure and satisfaction for me. When I take a simple piece of metal and turn it into something that did not exist before, I feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment.
