CSI Wild - Sharks is a film I produced directed and shot that documented the illegal trade of shark fins around the world. Winner of Jackson Hole Best Environmental Film 2007. I filmed the feature documentary Afghan Star entrirely in Afghanistan over a period of ten weeks. The film went on to win awards at Sundance Festival, Prix DItalia and the The Grieson Award for Best Documentary on a Contemporary Issue. Winner of the Best Independent Documentary at the 32nd International Wildlife Film Festival.

I studied at Suffolk College for 2 years specialising in ceramics towards the end of the second year. After leaving Suffolk College in 1993 I went to work at the Le Dieu Pottery in Norwich for 1 year. I then studied ceramics for 3 years at West Surrey College of Art and Design followed by a 1 year PGCE teaching course. I have been teaching at Claydon High School since 1988. As a Producer and Director I have worked consistantly for British Broadcasters as well as Discovery Channel and National Geographic. My specialised field is in presenter led factual programmes and observational documentaries. Over the years these productions have picked up awards at The Sundance Festival, Jackson Hole, The International Wildlife Film Festival and The Grierson Award.
