Is the work of an amateur photographer. My name is Phil, I have had an interest in photography since I was very little. My preferred subjects are architecture, history, nature, and automotive. Currently I use a Canon 30D EOS digital SLR camera with an 18mm - 55mm Canon EF-S lens and a Sunpak 9002DX tripod. All photo editing is done in Adobe Photoshop CS3. If you wish to use any of my photos.

North Valley State Sanatorium. North Valley was established in August 1901 and sits atop the Green Ridge Mountains of south-central Virginia. It went under the name of White Oak Camp from 1901-1907 and housed three patients. Conditions were crude as the first patients lived in an unheated barn and few remained there long. By 1907, capacity had expanded to about thirty patients who paid $1 per week which covered all expenses except laundry. The Lutheran Theological Seminary.

Photography and the occasional rant about life, the universe and everything else. Photo Communities, worth a look. May 5th, 2013; 0 comments. Laquo; Older Entries. For the record: I really love. British pubs. Beer is great, food also (although it’ll give you a coronary sooner or later). And you simply cannot beat the atmosphere. The shot above is just a snapshot taken in York, while visiting a colleague at York University last week. Laquo; Older Entries. Dom Luis bridge at night.

We've been readin', writin', and researchin' the family bible, photographs, and on-line databases to track our ancestors. The journey took us across America, Canada, Scotland, England, Ireland, Russia, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Prussia, and Germany.
