Took advantage of some good weather during the lunar new year holidays and rode the scooter to maokong. Famous for its tea plantations and tea houses. some personal photos. In full gear. the protection is mostly from the sun and air pollution. temperatures were in the mid 20s/70s (°C/°F). An unusually clear day for taipei in january. Since the maokong gondola. Just outside of taipei is a popular weekend getaway. it's famous for its hot springs, atayal. Aboriginal culture, great hiking, swimming, fishing and birdwatching opportunities and gorgeous mountain scenery. a few shots from a 1/2 day trip from two weeks ago. Entrance to main street through wulai bridge. Shops, restaurants and food vendors are a plenty.
