Just some tidbits from our life in Tahoe.enjoy! Sunday, May 10, 2015. Friday was the big "Mothers Surprise" party at Kenzo's preschool. Each child requested his mom wear something very specific to the party. Mine was benign: pink skirt, pink top, sparkly shoes. Others didn't get off so easily and looked like they were ready for a night out at the casinos! The classroom was decorated and ready for our brunch, made by the teachers. Just some tidbits from our life in Tahoe.enjoy! Saturday, May 31, 2014. We started swim lessons this month in Reno. Yes, it's a haul to get down there, but the teachers and facility are great and we get errands done too. Kenzo was not very happy the first three sessions, as shown here, having one-on-one time away from the other kids because he was HYSTERICAL. Of course, he hugs the teacher and says "thank you! And says how much fun he had.AFTER leaving the pool area. This is going to be a fattening summer.

Just some tidbits from our life in Tahoe.enjoy! Sunday, August 2, 2015. Family Fun - Round Two. The Alvarez family rolled into town last week! Day one was a birthday lunch at Sunnyside for Henry. Me and the 11 year old. Birthday dinner request for paella. And Uncle Tak came up too! And peanut butter pie for dessert, made my Naomi! Went into Squaw Valley the next day. To enjoy the sun at 8200 feet above sea level! The pool felt great! Actually a bit too warm to be refreshing, but the kids loved it!

Just some tidbits from our life in Tahoe.enjoy! Saturday, February 28, 2015. Jackson Hole with the Aussies. With the depressingly low snow amounts this season in Tahoe, it was time to hit the road! We jumped a plane (or two) to Jackson Hole, WY! Landing in a winter wonderland. Van, Eytan and Eva arrived just hours earlier! Dinner at El Abuelito. Eva and Kenzo were so happy to be reunited! And so were we! GIANT margaritas to start our holiday off right! And ice cream to start their holiday off right.

Ugh, didn't take pictures of the property, but if you're interested. Kjell and Kenzo were happy to see each other too! Pizza dinner the night before the feast. Ken, Nancy and Jen. Jorgen, Pat and Derek. The Guthiel family came too, from Truckee! Cari and Jen at breakfast. Yes, we ate every moment we weren't cooking!
