EHS NRC - PITC Trainer Institutes. The Early Head Start National Resource Center (EHS NRC), in collaboration with WestEd, will conduct a series of the Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC) Trainer Institutes. These institutes are designed for Early Head Start (EHS) programs, with an emphasis on EHS - Child Care (CC) Partnership grantees and their delegate agencies. The trainings will be offered between May and August in 2015. Please Review Before Registering. Each week covering two of the four modules.

Chapter 3 of the Intentional Teacher does an excellent job tying together the prerequisites to reading Emergent Literacy and Developmentally Apporpropriate Practices. It has refreshing teaching strategies that go beyond glueing beans on an alphabet letter B or tracing the letter B on a worksheet. For example under the topic of print knowledge.
