Planet California 2008: The Sarah Palin-Joe Biden Debate
http://planetcalifornia2008.blogspot.com/2008/09/sarah-palin-joe-biden-debate.html
Saturday, September 27, 2008. The Sarah Palin-Joe Biden Debate. She has a problem with the timbre of her voice, for instance, which when she's excited becomes high and shrill. She needs to breathe from her diaphragm and bring her voice down. If Hillary could do it, she can do it. She's got a "northern" accent which gives people the idea she's a hick. It may or may not work; she needs to round her vowels out a little, say "working" instead of "workin," and slow down. As much as I detest this, nucular.

Planet California 2008: McCain-Obama Debate anticlimactic
http://planetcalifornia2008.blogspot.com/2008/09/mccain-obama-debate-anticlimactic.html
Saturday, September 27, 2008. The more I see of Barack Obama, the more I realize how little he knows. The more I see of John McCain, the more I realize how old he is. Last night was no exception. His lackluster performance on the economic issues might be based on a possibility of one or a combination of items. I also wish McCain had used the antiBush message more effectively, which I presume is the real reason he went to Washington which is to show that the "McSame" message is wrong. Have you noticed...

Planet California 2008: Palin now defines herself...and maybe the GOP
http://planetcalifornia2008.blogspot.com/2008/11/palin-now-defines-herselfand-maybe-gop.html
Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Palin now defines herself.and maybe the GOP. Check my son-in-law's new video. Palin's honored her commitment to the Republicans who supported her and brought her into the limelight by doing what she was told. She did it mighty well, I believe. She's a typical winner. Her internal strength is sometimes called cockiness. If she were a man, it would be called something entirely different- the name would connote trust and admiration. How sad that both Democrat and Republican mac...

Planet California 2008: Man of the Year: Joe the Plumber
http://planetcalifornia2008.blogspot.com/2008/10/man-of-year-joe-plumber.html
Thursday, October 16, 2008. Man of the Year: Joe the Plumber. God works in the strangest and the most humorous of ways. Could this be an October surprise? One of a few? How can Obama's tax plan help him and his business? It's just so simple, Barack. Why is it you Dems put a roadblock ahead of people who are trying to build businesses? Moreover, we're seeing how Senator Obama's ACORN distractions have cost us all money. But, that's another issue for another time. Joe the Plumber has a good head on his sho...

Blue Skies: December 2006

An Autobiography.done in stealth, nonsequentially, to protect the innocent and help others to understand. Friday, December 08, 2006. I'm tired of politics. I've decided to concentrate on fulfilling a deep, nagging need to delve into my faith and the word of God. Studying and writing about politics can bring you to a point where you must acknowledge your personal helplessness in a world of sadness and despair. Later, when I married (again), I was blessed to be "yoked" with another mainline Christian. ...

An Autobiography.done in stealth, nonsequentially, to protect the innocent and help others to understand. Saturday, January 26, 2008. The rewards of getting older. Finally, you get to the view of yourself that others have always had. The topography of your idiocies and your screw ups are as deep now as your facial wrinkles. That's clarity. When you wake up in the middle of the night screaming "Holy Crap." That's real clarity. An increase in the capacity to empathize. Yeah, even those.

Blue Skies: September 2007

An Autobiography.done in stealth, nonsequentially, to protect the innocent and help others to understand. Monday, September 17, 2007. I feel an affinity to Jews. Maybe the moment a Jewish soul left its body at Auschwitz was the time I was conceived and infused with that soul. But, I'm a Christian, not really a believer in reincarnation. Who knows? Maybe God just gave me a gift. My fascination with anti-Semites and other racists, bigots, et Al. Why were they treated like second class citizens? I sought ou...

Planet California 2005: Wake Up, America
http://planetcaliforniatwo.blogspot.com/2005/11/wake-up-america.html
The Planet enters its second year. Tuesday, November 15, 2005. Wake Up, America. I don't know what it will take to get Americans to awaken to the dread and reality of this terrorist war. Another 9-11? Probably not. They'd just blame President Bush again. I contend that any country who has a full generation without a draft, i.e., never having to defend itself, is headed for disaster. I Hated the Feminist Movement. Even when I liked it. Meanwhile, the kiddies (at script meetings, editorial meetings, bookde...

Planet California 2005: This is Hardly a Right-to-Die Case
http://planetcaliforniatwo.blogspot.com/2005/03/this-is-hardly-right-to-die-case.html
The Planet enters its second year. Friday, March 18, 2005. This is Hardly a Right-to-Die Case. I've read headlines about Terri Shiavo, the woman whose husband has decided that an offhanded remark she made when she was twenty-one, should be the reason to remove her feeding tube and watch her starve to death. The debate is framed as a right-to-die. Let me rephrase that: .he is killing her and the state is helping him to do it. When in our history has this ever occurred? Death is So Final. A Civil Society t...
