My Works In Progress. Saturday, July 26, 2014. This is the first two pages of my story. There's some missing pieces of her memories on the first page because I'm not finished with the edits yet, so some feedback and critiquing would be appreciated. :). She closed her eyes and laid back, the words of the chant dancing before her. Her whispered words rose like the soft wisps of smoke from the candles encircling her head. 8220;You shall be called Veda, for someday you shall have eternal knowledge.”...

The Silver Flute: October 2014
http://thesilverflute.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
My Works In Progress. Saturday, October 25, 2014. All right, so this afternoon I had a bit of a craving for caramel-covered apples. When I looked in the cabinet and discovered that we had no caramel, I decided to make some. Just thought I'd share the recipe with you! Okay, so for the caramel, you'll need. 1 can sweetened condensed milk. 1 cup of brown sugar. 1 stick of butter or margarine. I then used an apple-cutter to make some apple slices. Sunday, October 19, 2014. Happy Birthday to My Blog! Oh, how ...

Short Story: The Story of a Painter by Ludmilla Petrushevskaya. 13th January, 2016. There once lived a painter so destitute that he couldn’t afford a single crayon, let alone brushes and paints. How beautiful is that for an opening line? It sounds like ‘literary fiction’ kind of read. But no! This one is a brewing concoction of mystery and whiffs of spookiness. This Post Has 16 Comments. January 14, 2016 at 3:22 am. Love how you write your reviews! I’m definitely reading this one 🙂. Wow, this sounds abs...

Dream Big. Dream Out Loud. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. NaNoWriMo is in three days (counting today), people! I am officially freaking out! I am like 95% prepared and yet I feel like I'm not prepared at all! What am I doing to prepare? The simple answer is lots. The long answer is a nice little list. Don't you just love lists! Sounds obvious, right? Well, I haven't written more than a sentence on a single story since Camp NaNo in July! But, I wanted to get the creative juices flowing before November 1st.

The Endless Oceans of my Mind: April 2016
http://victoriasoceans.blogspot.com/2016_04_01_archive.html
The Endless Oceans of my Mind. Friday, 29 April 2016. My favourite romantic relationships. I'll be the first one to say that I'm not big into romance. Romance is icky. There's far too much staring and hand-holding involved and not nearly enough blowing stuff up. Why would you sing love songs when you can run from evil aliens/war lords/psycho baddies? But we all know I'm a person of many opposites, (like I'm usually clean and organized but then I have my Wall of Utter Procrastination). William Cage and Ri...
