Welcome to the Plymouth Heli's website. We are the largest dedicated radio-controlled model helicopter club in Plymouth. Formed in 1999, there are about 20 members who between them fly a variety of models both pod and boom and scale. The club is affiliated to the B.M.F.A. (British Model Flying Association) and all members must have B.M.F.A. insurance which will be arranged on joining. We are no longer flying at Crownhill Down due to the Hemerdon Mine complex taking over the land. Membership is now CLOSED.
