POETICALLY IGNITED

Monday, December 8, 2014. Surrealism. The free mind capturing the moment without strings, either through art or the thought frame of the poetic soul. Some believe the surrealist movement came from the dream theories of Jung and Freud, but no, the man who brought it to the forefront was, Andre Breton (1886-1966) a French writer, poet, surrealist who was part of the Dada movement for a short period, then he took it a step further into surrealism. In the 1920's Andre Breton collaborated with Philippe Soulpa...

Poetically Inspired by D'verse. Feed Your Spirit and Free Your Soul. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Daily Post Prompts Site. Facebook Writing Challenge Group. September 5, 2014. It’s been a month. A month of tissues that gradually resembled. That cheap stuff you buy at the dollar-deals. Now reminiscent of the old alcho. With the battered red cap. Who drinks in the park. As air burps cheap vino. Sucking air over dry gums. And longing for morning to come. Nights that s t r e t c h.

What deserves $15 an hr? Not McDonald’s…. Posted by poetically irrevocable. Asymp; 1 Comment. It’s about time I really spoke on this…. You McDonald’s workers are FOOLISH to think you deserve $15 an hr. I don’t eat that crap often but here’s my opinion:. 1 Based on a lot of customer service reports alone such a raise is not deserved. 2 Remember the guy who decided to have an orgasm in someone’s burger and gave her an STD? A Real Poet

Friday, February 23, 2007. 8220;The Computation” by John Donne. O: Lover has left him and he misses his love. A: People that have lost a loved one. P: To show how he feels alone now. S: A man’s wife has died. Tone: grieving, mad, sad, longing. 8221; Also, I tried to use the same diction and old word choice that Donne has used in his poem. In this poem I really liked hoe he played with a little repetition and rhyme in a couple of lines, which I also included in my response poem. Thursday, February 22, 2007.
