Postcards from Skye: December 2007
http://postcardsfromskye.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
A photoblog from the Isle of Skye with information about the natural history, walks and some technology stuff thrown in. Sunday, December 02, 2007. Originally uploaded by ShirleyGrant. First good day in a while, so an opportunity for a walk. My camera should been making its way back to me, it has been in for repair for 6 weeks. So have reverted back to using my wee Olympus. Lots of people out today, more than I've met in previous visits, that's what some sunshine does. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

No shortage of locations in Sleat to choose for a lunchtime photoshoot, just have to ask - where's the sun (usually hiding behind a cloud! How high is the tide. Lovely day on Friday so we headed for Knock Bay, tide out, sun to south, nice castle to north, hills across the water. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Year Off Blog. Live on the Isle of Skye.

A photoblog from the Isle of Skye with information about the natural history, walks and some technology stuff thrown in. Thursday, September 14, 2006. The hill overlooking Broadford is called Beinn na Callich and I wanted it to be the first that I climbed on Skye since my move here. I picked up a couple of friends and drove the couple of miles to Old Corry where we started the walk, less than 5 minutes to drive – fantastic! Wednesday, September 06, 2006. The tide was fully in when I arrived home. I w...

Minding my own business - Think Different Events: Another musical interlude
http://thinkdifferentevents.blogspot.com/2007/03/another-musical-interlude.html
Minding my own business - Think Different Events. Friday, March 30, 2007. The only film I can think of which has an actual Musical Interlude as part of the main film is 'The Battle of The Bulge' starring Robert Shaw, Hendry Fonda, Robert Ryan, Charles Bronson and the usual assortment of C-list extras. When the young panzer commanders start singing you almost want them to win! Anyway, over past couple of weeks I've been listening to and watching a couple of good singer songwriters and bands.

Minding my own business - Think Different Events: Keeping Fit
http://thinkdifferentevents.blogspot.com/2007/04/keeping-fit.html
Minding my own business - Think Different Events. Monday, April 02, 2007. Nominated me, if that is the correct term, to divulge what I do to keep fit. So now, to answer Nigel's question, what do I do now to keep me fit? Coach an under 17's football team and get a wee run out with them at the end of the each session during a game - it's amazing how quick they are to the ball, or is it just me? Minding my own business - Think Different Events. Sunday, March 04, 2007. It's been a funny old week. Sometimes you have weeks when you just think - 'yeah that was a good week. I'll have more of this please.' The beginning of the week saw me in the Optima with Learning and Teaching Scotland. And a few meetings where we continued developing some of the ideas that will form the basis of the Scottish Learning Festival. Later on in the week we had another productive meeting to discuss the eLearning. And then...

Minding my own business - Think Different Events: The next step
http://thinkdifferentevents.blogspot.com/2007/02/next-step.html
Minding my own business - Think Different Events. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Finally managed to get my hands on the keys to. The new office. Not sure whether it. Was a matter of the cheque finally clearing or the letting staff finally getting fed up with my early morning calls to see when I could come down to the office and take them. So the. New headquarters is now. Telephone number(s) to follow. So they keys to the office led me around the corner to the Office Furniture Centre.

Minding my own business - Think Different Events. Sunday, March 04, 2007. You can't beat a good old one. Driving over the Kingston Bridge the other day I heard the title track from Pink Floyd. S Wish You Were Here album on XFM. A really great track from a great album. But was it better than Dark Side of the Moon? I also got an email from an old boss and friend of mine, Nigel Paine. Anyway, keeping to the music theme of this blog he tells me he is currently listenting to. I always felt that Dark Side of t...

Minding my own business - Think Different Events: Oldies but Goldies

Minding my own business - Think Different Events. Sunday, February 25, 2007. Decided to raid the music archives this week for my music pleasure. First up was Billy Bragg and. Being ever so slightly left of centre, some of Billy's songs which he recorded around the time of the. Minding my own business - Think Different Events: More bank problems
http://thinkdifferentevents.blogspot.com/2007/02/more-bank-problems.html
Minding my own business - Think Different Events. Sunday, February 25, 2007. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse with the bank I've recently joined, what happens at the weekend? A couple of the clients I'm working with were due to pay me by this weekend and I thought I'd go online and see if there had been any payments into the account, especially important this week as I need as much cash as I can to furnish the office and get the various systems setup for Laura starting a week on Monday.

Minding my own business - Think Different Events: How a big corporation can really screw you up
http://thinkdifferentevents.blogspot.com/2007/03/how-big-corporation-can-really-screw.html
Minding my own business - Think Different Events. Thursday, March 29, 2007. How a big corporation can really screw you up. The advertising slogan for BT once read. It's good to talk.". I had to fax it back to them! Well if I had a telephone line I might be able to do that but as I haven't. Who's being stupid here. Me or a company that's making millions out of people like you and me? Does BT really give a monkeys about a two person organisation which isn't even going to use its broadband service? Two thin...

Postcards from Sierra Nova
Postcards from Sierra Nova. Just another sims 4 blog. October 2091. Liberty Blair is 15. . Mom, what are you doing here? Liberty asked, answering the door and finding her mother who was decidedly not. Two-thousand miles away. It’s not Thanksgiving for four more weeks. I just missed you kids too much. I wanted to be with you more than just summers and holidays. So I just signed a lease on an apartment in town. And I found a job here pretty quickly. Isn’t that great? I thought you’d be happy to see me.

Postcards from Skyrim | Some may call this junk. Me, I call them screenshots.
It’s About This Game. Some may call this junk. Me, I call them screenshots. January 25, 2013. Better living through necromancy. January 23, 2013. She calmly got up from her chair near the fireplace, went over to the table, and sat down. Hert wasn’t even upset when I picked up Hern’s corpse and dumped it right in her lunch. She didn’t even mind that I sat down too to have a snack. Raising the dead is hard work, y’know. Hern, in the meantime, just stood around groaning incoherently....And when the spell wo...
