I can’t believe it seems like 30 was yesterday. I’ve been married since 2002. We met on a blind date. I’ve been on more blind dates than I care to remember! My husband is a sensitive, loving, and handy guy. We have a sweet baby boy who was born in March 2004. I love being a mom. I was a very creative child.

Nonsensical notes from a no-nonsense kind of gal. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Nothing like a 2x4 to the head. Yeah, it was probably partly PMS, but I noticed some parallels between the bird family and my own life. It's really been hectic around here this summer (hence the quiet blog). I'm busy running around with my preschooler, overseeing the neighbor kids who wander by, doing a little paid work, cooking meals, etc. I find myself thinking "omygosh, will preschool start up again already? I am so exhausted!

So I’m in Guadalajara for a 2 day work trip. I left yesterday, and already I miss my kids like. I relished the peace and quiet.
