Recently my friend and I took a wee tour of Northland here in New Zealand and we partook of tea at several stops. I have but few photos of the settings and places sadly. We first of all stopped off at the Puhoi Tearooms. Which was barely half an hour inside of our travels. I haven't been for a few years but it's a charming place with a garden and a view that overlooks part of the valley. I am gluten intolerant (luckily not coeliac! Which is wonderfully potent! Egerlander days / numbers. Putting dialect on headstones. G Straka, 2009. Now includes traditional Bohemian recipes. Why an Egerländer dialect web site? The original Puhoi settlers. Spoke a dialect known as the Egerländer dialect, often called the Bohemian dialect. Sadly, few speak it fluently now - probably only a dozen or so (as at 2011). Even worse, since it is not taught in schools and since it is not spoken with the young any more, our dialect will eventually die out. Egerländer dialect is a German.
