A word from the North. Archive for September, 2009. On September 2, 2009 1 Comment. The aptly named ‘Poor Knights Island Wonderland’ hosted me for a magical day of SCUBA diving. Looking out the mouth of Rikoriko. Thanks to the crew at ‘Dive! Tutukaka’. The day was mint (minus the ice on the windscreen! And the islands were swarming with flocks of blue mau mau, massive snapper, moray eels, king fish and hundreds of others I’ve never seen before, including these weird colourful slug things.
