Every Picture Tells a Story. Saturday, May 28, 2016. Looks Like I'm Back But I'm Not Sure How. This blog has lain dormant for nearly a year, not because I lost interest, but because somehow, inexplicably, I was locked out of my account and could not for the life of me figure out why. Every attempt at correcting the situation failed. I even contacted Google. Have you ever tried to talk to Google? Hell, I imagine a few of them even speak FORTRAN, COBOL, and S/360 Assembler, at least some of the older ones.

Every Picture Tells a Story. Saturday, June 28, 2014. Loving What I Do. But enough of that blather. You came here to look at pictures, so here they are. Some house. At $489K it had better be. The pics turned out to be a lot of work (as in A LOT OF WORK) but it was cool to explore practically every square inch of the place. And how 'bout that kitchen? Okay, I might have to leave the sun porch every so often to take a nice, soaking bath in the jacuzzi. After all, man does not live by margaritas alone.

Every Picture Tells a Story. Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Ah, That Great American Pastime-No, the Other One. Now that cooler temperatures have arrived. But before the onset of a rumored nasty winter). I thought it might be nice to sit back and ruminate. On the traditional pastime and leisure activity that all of America enjoys. Well, yeah, close. I've spent many a lazy summer afternoon sitting in the ballpark drinking myself senseless. You know what I'm talking about). The challenger, Beautiful Bobby, walk...

Every Picture Tells a Story. Monday, July 14, 2014. Because One Can Never Have Enough Hobbies. Just in case we ever run out of things to do, Lana (my intrepid partner in crime, in life, in all things that matter) and I have taken on the project of all projects; A home renovation. And what a home. What a renovation. What a project. Oh yeah, it's big. Like monster big. Like 3,400 square feet of monster big as in two floors and an apartment sized basement. And all of it in need of lots of TLC. Lana, for one...

Picturesque Photographic : November 2014

Every Picture Tells a Story. Thursday, November 27, 2014. The Hills Are Alive With a Rainbow of Color. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. There's just something about the just right snap in the air, the clarity as the summer haze lifts, and the changing colors of the leaves. Definitely, the colors. But while they're here it's a sight to behold. As slowly, slowly, but much too quickly as well, the leaves begin to lose their intensity,. Until just a few are left. The calendar shall begin its jou...

Picturesque Photographic : April 2015
http://picturesquephotographic.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Every Picture Tells a Story. Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Since I got back into photography in such a big way I've been spending a lot of time photographing birds. Actually, I spend more time watching them than taking photos, as they aren't all that easy to get good pictures of without quite a lot of patience. To have a few good bird pictures you have to shoot a lot of bad bird pictures. Like this one, for instance:. BAD BIRD, BAD BIRD PICTURE! Just a couple of laps around the Gulf, okay? Look out, guys!

Picturesque Photographic : December 2014
http://picturesquephotographic.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Every Picture Tells a Story. Wednesday, December 24, 2014. In this season of hope and happiness, may the Spirit of the Season find you at peace with the world, with optimism toward the future, and with love in your heart for all mankind. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, Hanukkah, nothing at all, or just like a good party, how you believe or don't believe, my wish for you is to have the sense that we truly are all in this together and it's never too late to be kind to one another.

Every Picture Tells a Story. Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Down By the Sea. Gloucester Harbor is the scene of the action here, with fishing vessels of all sizes awaiting their crews. A lot of vessels were docked and showed no signs of activity. This could have been due to it being a Sunday but I can't say for sure. I know next to nothing about recreational fishing so it stands to reason that I know less than that about commercial fishing. It happens on boats but beyond that it's a mystery. A major feature of S...
