Sewing Seeds of Common Scents: Charity
http://sewingseedsofcommonscents.blogspot.com/2012/06/charity.html
More of Mary's books ». Wednesday, June 6, 2012. I remember a missionary district meeting a long time ago in a land far far away (Hong Kong) in which we were discussing charity. I remember an elder sharing a quote on charity. I didn't remember who the quote was by, but I know that I loved the quote. The only part I really remembered was that charity is expecting the best of each other. Well, I found the quote:. 8213; Marvin J. Ashton. Practice, practice, practice. More of Mary's books ». When you give, you always get! Tuesday, October 18, 2011. When you give, you always "get"! I love this (taken from a talk by Bonnie Parkin in March 2004):. Don’t you think it’s well to think in terms of what you have to give? I haven't been able to put pictures on the computer yet and I am still not done with my one project. I am so close, but I have to go to the store as I can't find my 3rd package of double fold bias tape here at home. Oh, to be organized.Someday!

My very talented and crafty friend, Morgan Moore. I loved sewing these together as I thought about each piece of fabric and where it came from. It was quite a ride down memory lane and quite a pattern in ...

http://itsgoodfortheheart.blogspot.com/2011/04/birthday-countdown.html
It's Good for the Heart. A craft a day keeps the doctor away. Monday, April 4, 2011. My son's birthday is fast approaching and since he LOVES advent calenders (just like his mama)- I thought it would be fun to make one and help build the anticipation to his big day! I got most of my inspiration from Nap Time Journal's Cupcake countdown. When I saw it, I knew I had to make one for myself. I have a lot of felt leftover from my felt playhouse so this project cost me nothin'. View my complete profile.

I stayed put all day yesterday due to some gross winter weather and began attacking. Areas of my house that needed a little organization! One that was at the top of my list was the pantry. After cleaning up the pantry, I saw this major problem lurking in the corner. I was having a serious problem. Grocery bags were spilling out of this bag and taking up SO much space.

I was able to finish my son's felt playhouse just in the nick of time- right before we headed home for Christmas break. It was quite the process but well worth it and am very happy with how it turned out! Unless you are new to all the crafty blogs. you have most likely seen this playhouse at Homemade by Jill. My friend and I loved hers so much we felt like we better not change it up too much :). That is so awesome!
