A Ragamuffin Family Tale. Saturday, October 31, 2009. And Now It's Fall. This fall has been pretty jam packed spending time with family. It has been a lot of fun and we've seen a lot of things! At Apple Fest in Lincoln Square with Dad and Grandmpa Judd. Charlotte Learns to Smile. Working on Sitting Up. We picked pumpkins with Aunt Lisa in Kentucky! She even read us books! We also visited Great Grandma and she took us to feed the ducks! We are a pretty good looking family! Great Grandpa and Charlotte Slept.

A Ragamuffin Family Tale. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Our neighborhood celebrates Halloween by bringing families together. The Lane Tech High School marching band leads all the families in a parade, the local businesses hand out candy and we all spend a little time with our neighbors. Plus all the kiddos (and some dogs and adults too! Dress up in silly outfits! This year we joined them, Enjoy! Our friends Rod and Marelen joined us! The band leads us off! Dad puts me on his shoulders so we can join in!

Friday, May 27, 2011. Jackson Turned 3, and Daddy Left on Deployment. In mid-April, Matt left for a six-month deployment on board the USS Howard ( Facebook Page for the Howard. Daddy and Jackson the weekend before deployment (Daddy is a little teary:). Matt and I at an impromptu going-away party some of his dear friends from his Men's Group organized. We were blessed with good friends and prayer over Matt that evening. We are so proud of our Chief! Mom Sheri, Poppy Ron and Jackson. May 31, 2011 at 2:46 PM.

Thursday, December 16, 2010. Action Jackson Visits Santa". We were lucky enough for Matt to have a day off of work last week (something that never happens! And so we made it a family Christmas extravaganza and all went to Disneyland for the day! It was crazy busy, but so much fun! We visited Disneyland and California Adventure and both places were decked for Christmas. Small World was totally transformed, which was exciting for Jackson and I since we frequent Disneyland every 3-5 weeks.

Simple squash with canellini, porcini and sage filling. October 29, 2014. It’s best to jump right in here; if I attempt a “catch-up” or explanation, I’ll never go anywhere! So here I am. When the squash was finished, I mixed the porcinis, cannolinis and sage into the onions, stirred gently, seasoned with salt and pepper, and heated through. The final step is very simple and expected: place half of the squash on your plate, and spoon in as much filling as you like. Sit down, and enjoy. :-). June 11, 2012.
