8230;in the USA. Mt Crane and Crane Pond. A pleasant loop hike. First section up to Crane Pond with four generations of Meyers–yay Grandma! 8211;even though over some steepish bedrock. We met a three generation group coming down, in which the father was carrying a duffle bag (no shoulder straps) with tent and sleeping bags. Wow! Why were they hiking with canoe paddles? Took 3 hours to the top, but then we took the steep way down (with two anchored ladders) and returned surprisingly fast to the trail head.
