Saturday, December 14, 2013. Busy week for Faye. Faye has had a very busy week. She was in the school spelling bee and had her very first piano recital! I'm very proud of all her hard work. Students had the option to try out for the spelling bee, and of course she wanted to try! They gave the students a quiz of 50 words and picked the top 13 students for the spelling bee. Wednesday, October 1, 2014. My twins are 10! We took the kids to Minneapolis/St. Paul this past weekend to show them where they were born and where we lived the first couple years of their life. It was our first trip back there since we moved 8 years ago! It was a beautiful weekend, 80 degrees and sunny on Saturday and Sunday! Thursday, June 12, 2014. Our 4th Grade Twins! I really can't believe I now have 4th graders! Straight A's for both of them on their report cards.I'm very proud of them both! I remember holding them both as babies and it sure doesnt seem like that long ago. They are doing great in school (in all aspects), please tell them I said GOOD job and Keep up the hard work! Saturday, November 1, 2014. Last weekend it was 70 degrees and sunny! We went to the pumpkin patch and corn maze, and spent most of the weekend outdoors. Andy bought a tractor and the boys spent all day working on the yard. I also finished knitting my Harvest. Sweater this week. I ran out of yarn and had to order more, so one arm is slightly darker than the other, but it is just going to be my cozy sweater to wear at home this fall/winter. Tuesday, February 25, 2014. I love these baby booties, although I didn't use a traditional baby color. This pattern called for a DK yarn and this was the only DK I had at home. I also made this shawl - one of my favorites! Alex requested a Pokemon ball, so I crocheted up a few of these too! I'm so ready for some warmer weather! Friday, January 17, 2014. The 3rd grade had a music concert last night. Since the kids were dressed up I thought I'd get a few nice pictures. Yeah right. My kids NEVER cooperate with pictures. Either they mess around or they refuse to smile. At the concert the kids showed us what they are learning in music, and they each played us a song they learned on the xylophone.
