Id Rather Be Blogging: Twas Two Weeks Before Christmas
http://www.ratherbeblogging.com/2013/12/twas-two-weeks-before-christmas.html
Twas Two Weeks Before Christmas. Twas the day of vacation, for me but not hubby. I wasn’t stirring, he awoke a bit grumpy. He showered and shaved, his routine am chore. As the covers I pulled up around me some more. I turned off the radio, nestled deeply in bed. While he left for work, a Monday to dread. For it was cold, a terrible freeze which can kill. Minus 41 with that dreaded wind chill. When out on the driveway there arose such a clatter. I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter. 8220;Merry ...
Id Rather Be Blogging: Aw, Shucks...
http://www.ratherbeblogging.com/2008/01/aw-shucks.html
I was reading my Yahoo mail the other day and came across an email that really made my day. I just love your blog! Aw, shucks, thanks. I've been a lurker for months, and this is the first time writing to you.". Well, that's always nice to hear. Keep up the great work; I really enjoy the chuckles you provide.". Gosh, you're making me blush now. Wow, what a nice surprise. Who the heck was this from, anyway? I look at the signature. All the best, Maureen. It's not like that name is popular. Love, Not Maureen.
Id Rather Be Blogging: Write a Blog Post
http://www.ratherbeblogging.com/2011/09/write-blog-post.html
Write a Blog Post. So what have YOU been up to lately? Well let's see. Since I last wrote, I have been uber-busy. Yesiree. busy, busy, busy. Okay, perhaps busy with a titch of lazy. Or, a tad busy with a more-than-admittable (okay, I know that is not a word). For anyone who cares, here's a rundown of July, August and the first half of September that seemed to rip past without me seeming to notice:. Now I don't have to feel guilty any more. Going to update more now. Definitely. I have to move all my craft.
Id Rather Be Blogging: I Obviously Need Supervision
http://www.ratherbeblogging.com/2013/11/i-obviously-need-supervision.html
I Obviously Need Supervision. While in Florida a few weeks back, I decided that even though I was alone, I had to visit both Disney World and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Since motion-sickness prevents me from trying most of the rides, I still was planning on walking about, picking up a few souvenirs and relaxing on the more docile attractions. Oh crappity crap crap! I texted daughter back home panicked that I was about to die. Or be horribly sick. SHE thought it was hilarious. Because I was alon...
Id Rather Be Blogging: The Fledgling
http://www.ratherbeblogging.com/2009/06/fledgling.html
Ahhhhhh. Finally. Home after another long workday. With the house to myself for awhile at least, I was looking forward to relaxing before the family came home for dinner. So I sat in my favorite recliner by the front window and put my feet up as the laptop booted. Outside, a commotion caught my eye. A blackbird was attacking another bird on the lawn; a tiny thing only capable of verbally berating it, until two more birds swooped into the fray and chased the bully blackbird away. Perhaps I was too. And as...

LIVING OUT LOUD: July 2007
http://preddygirl-livingoutloud.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 24, 2007. I feel like one day here I will get back to blogging….sigh and I started out so well too. My goal was once a week and there for a minute I was actually blogging a couple times a week. it has been some time since my last blog – I started a new department once my manager came back from vaca – and this new department is no joke – busy busy and very detailed – a lot more little things to do than what I was doing before. Peace Forward and Much Love….Infinite Blessings! Drama like visio...
Life Literally: December 2013
http://litterzone.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Look Who's Here for Christmas. Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Since his baby brother often sleeps in this particular room, in order to remind everyone to behave inside the room, Mat had posted rule on the door. Talking, crying and screaming are prohibited. No one was intended to remove the warning. Then this evening, about a couple of weeks after, I found something different on the door. Mat's note had a company. She even managed to write it on the same type of notepaper. Monday, December 23, 2013. Among ...

The world's really rather beautiful, kids and all | Travelling with kids in mind
The world's really rather beautiful, kids and all. Travelling with kids in mind. I’m a supermarket junkie. And everywhere I go I always get a kick out of visiting the local supermarkets. I still feel that way when I go to the supermarkets in my home town of Jakarta, even though I can go there as often as four times a year (thanks to budget airfares and the occasional Lufthansa promotion). That’s how obsessed I am. Containers, welcome to paradise. Outlet. If your kids are into Dibo the Gift Dragon. E-Mart...
Rather Be Baking
Experimental Baking Adventures, every other day. Thursday, April 28, 2011. I'm playing with macaroons because these things are things I'd like to get good at making. The most popular, so far, has been the chocolate-almond macaroons with white chocolate-orange ganahce filling, but I am trying some meringues right now with melted chocolate folded in. Take 1: one egg, 1/2 cup icing sugar, 1/3 cup couverture wafers (chocolate chip size). Take 2: one egg, 1/3 cup icing sugar, 1/3 cup chocolate chips. Basicall...
Rather Be Baking
October 10, 2015. September came (and went), and I felt myself exhale. And now it’s October and finally we’ve put the summer behind us, good and bad and hard, and grief shifts under crackling leaves and that chill in the air. I’m an unashamed sucker for everything pumpkin and happily trade iced coffees for hot ones, and we pull out long sleeved pajamas and assess what still fits from last winter. And we breathe. October 10, 2015. August 18, 2015. I’m not a big proponent of doing housework during naptime,...

Rather be Craftin'
Friday, February 1, 2013. Just wanted to share a couple pics of the mini album I made to document my pregnancy with baby #2. I thought I didn't have time with one baby! I found a few minutes to put this together using the Avonlea collection and the 6x6 accordion album from Close to my Heart. Now just need to get those pictures printed! Hopefully this marks my re-entry to the world of blogging. Looking forward to catching up on the last year of posts on everyone's blogs. :). Friday, October 14, 2011.
