Kale Sunflower Seed Pesto. 2 cups tightly packed red kale (washed with stems removed). 2 large garlic cloves (peeled and sliced). 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (unshelled). 1/2 cup olive oil. 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese (optional).
