From here to there…. Asymp; Leave a comment. It feels like life is beginning to disentangle itself from Winters tenure. It’s so exciting. I always mindfully walk August on tiptoes. Dreaming. Dancing within. Looking ahead. Waiting. I’m careful and keen in my farewell but consciously I slow my desire to break into a sprint. I try not to rush. Yet I’m so intensely distracted by the pull of everything, authentic and beautiful, budding and bursting forth…. Asymp; Leave a comment. The salty outdoor air is thic...

on breaking open | homemade rainbows
https://homemaderainbows.wordpress.com/2013/02/26/on-breaking-open
From here to there…. Asymp; Leave a comment. This morning I walked the shore line for an hour,. Hugging the stripped post storm dunes. Sea foam kissed my feet and the recovering tide pulled at my skirt hem as if wanting to envelop me. Two sea eagles circled low above my head. Enticing my spirit and my breath skyward. A bluebottle wrapped its burning ribbon around my toe. Snagging me swiftly back to ground and breaking me completely open to the crude beauty of the sea. I tell you this. To break your heart,.

Monday, July 20, 2009. This pretty much sums up what we have been up to lately! It has been an intense time of coughing, sneezing, runny noses and generally feeling run down. Thankfully Ben has just had three weeks school holidays and it has been a time of taking life slowly. I look at the trees that have lost their leaves for winter, they concentrate their energy in deep introspection, ready to bounce back into joyful life when the warmth. Of spring come around again. From here to there…. The broken and the beautiful. Asymp; Leave a comment. These mornings seem to have teeth behind their kissing lips. Ever so gently biting their messages on my skin. The quiet forces me to face myself. And uncomfortably bare my soul. I fuel it with naked feet upon dew covered grasses, camera in hand, swallowing hard the wistfulness that rises. The broken and the beautiful. The joy of welcome and the sorrow of farewell. My house is packed in boxes,. Larr; Previous post. Next post →.

May… | homemade rainbows
https://homemaderainbows.wordpress.com/2013/05/29/may-2
From here to there…. Asymp; Leave a comment. The chill of May has quickly filled in the corners. And after the full moon I’m sighing at the surprising realisation it’s nearly over. The long fingers of the sun, when it shines, slide sideways through the windows and call on me far indoors now. The salty outdoor air is thick with the aroma of paperbark trees. The coastal banksias are well in flower and the birds have been singing songs about them. Where on earth did Summer go? Larr; Previous post. You are c...

A moment to pause, savor and remember. - Soule Mam. Saturday, August 14, 2010. I love tea pots! This little tea pot is one of my favourite possessions. Even with it's non matching white lid. Filled with milky sweet chai. No matter what else is happening in my busy, noisy world, I feel like I am caring for ME when I sit and pour my tea.

Norweeka Knits: February 2010
http://norweekaknits.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 5, 2010. I have finally finished these lovely hand dyed felt sea creatures, the photo was taken before I attached the little washers for the magnet on the fishing rod to grab. A set for our boys and a set for a little friend who turned 3. My treasures love them, I love the 'boat' they built to fish from. No mama I am not eating raw dough! Popped off the bread! Recipe. The boys used sultanas. On their lovely creations. I used feta, silverbeet. And basil in the mine. A new year, a new start.
