Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Random kid quotes I don't want to forget. Elliott, sitting on the toilet before bed but acting disobedient. Tim threatens to spank him if he doesn't stop. Elliott: "You can't. My butt is hidden.". Before bed discussing our sleeping arrangements when we visit my family:. Elliott: Don't leave me in the room alone at Granny's. Me: What if William is there with you? Elliott: No, I need a grown up. Elliott: That's what friends are for. Me: You're my buddy, William. Me: Who is rabbit?

The Staleys: Room by room, function by function
http://the-staleys.blogspot.com/2012/07/room-by-room-function-by-function.html
Monday, July 16, 2012. Room by room, function by function. When I imagine a comfortable home, I think one of that functional and comfortable spaces. I think our house is missing a little of that. I'm going to go room by room and figure out what could make it work better for our family. Again, this is a brainstorm. ROOM ONE: Living room. ROOM TWO: Dining room. FUNCTION: Eating, storing extra plates/dishes, entertaining. What I like: The black table and chairs. The mirror. The walls. What I don't like: All...

The Staleys: October 2009
http://the-staleys.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 22, 2009. William turned two months old last week. We had his well-check this week and found out that he is 14 pounds (90th percentile) and 24 3/4 inches long (97th percentile). He is my mega-baby. He has a nasty case of cradle cap. The pediatrician suggested Selsum Blue, but I am a bit leery of using something so medicinal. I might try some oils first. Whenever one of us brings the baby into the room. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Fidel Castro and the Moment of Departure.

photohio: Polariffic
http://photohio.blogspot.com/2010/07/polariffic.html
Wednesday, July 14, 2010. I got a Polaroid OneShot this past weekend at a yard sale for $3. I've been interested in getting a Polaroid just for fun, so I couldn't pass up a bargain. However, it uses 600 film, which Polaroid doesn't make anymore (of course, Polaroid doesn't make any instant film anymore) and the Fuji instant film won't fit. That just left The Impossible Project. If you haven't heard of The Impossible Project, you should check it out http:/ www.the-impossible-project.com/.

photohio: Delivery
http://photohio.blogspot.com/2009/08/delivery.html
Saturday, August 29, 2009. I always love getting a box full of goodies delivered to my door. My order from Freestyle Photo. Arrived today. I highly recommend them, they specialize in film photography supplies, have good prices, and always include a nice little thank you card with every order. I was running low on developer, so I ordered some Kodak Polymax T and Ilford Microphen. Thus far I've only used Ilford DD-X, so I'm curious to try out both new developers and see how things turn out.

Diving Through Dayton: Breakfast at Abner's
http://divingthroughdayton.blogspot.com/2009/08/breakfast-at-abners.html
Dayton's Most Respected Food Blog. Thursday, August 20, 2009. You'll have to ask who Abner is because I forgot to ask. Sorry. I forgot to ask because I was too busy eating my breakfast and people watching. The breakfast food was great. I tried the eggs, toast, biscuits and gravy, and fried potatoes. All of them were really good, cheap, and filling enough that I forgot to eat lunch (that NEVER happens). One of my favorite things about Abner's is that it is a great place to get away and get work done, espe...
