http://scubasis.blogspot.com/2007/01/its-been-while.html
Monday, January 01, 2007. It's been a while. As the last month has been rather hectic; but I thought it was about time to get back with the 'in-crowd' and post again! We bloggers love lists, and I wondered if anyone had a top 3 highlights of the festive season that they wanted to share? I'll start the ball rolling:. Haven't had much chance to use it yet, except on the cats (see below)! But we're going to London for a few days next week so I shall be like a real tourist, snapping everything in site. 4) ha...

Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Jesus in a white coat. Saturday, October 21, 2006. Am a little snowed under today - Aaron, you are correct, I've been on too many jollys. I've spent Monday, Thurday and Friday in London this week at various meetings and my brain is exhausted. However, rather than have the opportunity to slob about today, I have spent all day doing paperwork etc to catch up on reports, invoices, appointments etc for my private patients. I need a secretary! Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Is that te...

Sunday, May 20, 2007. A pome wot I like. Having completely got out of the habit of blogging, I couldn't resist Viv's challenge to dig up favourite childhood poems. I was part of a choral speaking group in my junior school and this poem by Hillaire Belloc was definitely our favourite to recite as a group. (Especially the long title). Who played with a Dangerous Toy, and suffered a Catastrophe of considerable Dimensions. WHEN George's Grandmamma was told. That George had been as good as gold,. The moral is...

ScubaSis: A poem wot I wrote
http://scubasis.blogspot.com/2006/11/poem-wot-i-wrote.html
Saturday, November 25, 2006. A poem wot I wrote. Davie was sorting through some stuff and found this - I'll let it speak for itself but I must explain I was only seven at the time! Well done Shelagh, you wrote a super poem about the circus. I especially liked the use of a rhythmic pattern, which gave it a good pace! I bet 2 house point were worth alot more in those days than they are now! You see Amy is such a good teacher with such positive and constructive comments! And you got your wish.

ScubaSis: September 2006
http://scubasis.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 25, 2006. You're the worst pirate I've ever heard of. Me and my good friend Johnny (how can he love someone so much that sang 'Joe le Taxi? Well, it's taken me a a whole week to get around to adding anything to my blog, as I've been so busy reading everyone elses! Not sure about the phenomenon of it seeming easier to express what you want to say by typing words into a PC that are more or less on a public view, than saying them face to face. Monday, September 18, 2006. I've never really ...

Tales from the Tardis: May 2007
http://talesofatimelord.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Tales from the Tardis. Sunday, May 20, 2007. This week Teapot and I have been to two cricket matches. On Thursday we went to Lords in London to watch the first day's play between England and West Indies. Earlier today we went to Edgbaston with Al who is a member there to see Warwickshire play Leicestershire and win. We hear his footsteps in all sorts of places. Sometimes they are woven subtly almost imperceptibly into the daily music of life. They are never overtaken by the noise of the stronger ...Of co...

Tales from the Tardis: April 2007
http://talesofatimelord.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Tales from the Tardis. Thursday, April 26, 2007. Dave was 62 when he died this week. He was out jogging when suddenly he passed out of this world and went to join El Pasto and FLN entering a reality described by C.S. Lewis thus:. The term is over; the holidays have begun. The dream is ended: this is the morning.the things that began to happen after that were so great and beautiful that I cannot write them. I remember his obsessive commitment to Gilbert and Sullivan. He and his friends would try to at...

The Rambles of Al: October 2006
http://ramblesofal.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
The Rambles of Al. Observations on life the universe and everything viewed through the eyes of me. A couple of weekends ago I escaped the urban jungle of Birmingham for some much better scenery and much cleaner air! It was my first day out of Birmingham for almost 8 weeks and it was the first road trip in Gregory Julian or Jules (my new car! With me behind the wheel. My two trusty companions for the day were Jen and Martin. We returned to the road and once again started laughing at the funny sounding pla...

Tales from the Tardis. Sunday, October 29, 2006. Before you think I have gone all highbrow this is not a blog about the hero of the Kingsley Amis novel of the same name. It is a story in the unfolding about my friend Jim.lucky Jim some would say. Not because he is a season ticket holder at Aston Villa looking forward to the ongoing revolution under St Martin, not because of his vast collection of vinyl records going back to before Cliff was a lad (he must have a lot? Lucky Jim. No way. My advice. Some of...
