http://advisor-urology-iusm.blogspot.com/2007/09/add-your-posts-below.html
Survey Question: Who was your advisor? Posted by Urology IUSM. My advisor was Dr. Cain (peds uro). He is a great person with a good breadth of knowledge. I picked him because he seemed like someone I could talk with openly. He also has good exposure to other programs. I recommend him highly. There may be some advantage to having Koch, Bihrle, or Foster as Advisors since they have a lot of influence on the residency app process. However, it may be hard to find time in their schedule to meet? I think that ...

Letters of Recommendation: Survey Question: How many letters did you get? From whom? Advice?
http://letters-urology-iusm.blogspot.com/2007/09/survey-question-how-many-letters-did.html
Saturday, September 22, 2007. Survey Question: How many letters did you get? Posted by Urology IUSM. Don't be afraid to ask for letters. The faculty know what it's like to apply to uro and are happy to help. I asked for a total of six letters:. 1) Chair, Dr Koch: This is a must. 2) Dr Rink: very well known for peds uro. 3) Dr Birhle: very well known. The downside is that Dr. Birhle is notorious for being late with his letters. Good luck getting it done. 4) Dr Sundaram: First letter turned in! 1- Dr Koch ...

Urology Sub-I: Survey Question: When did you take your urology Sub-I? Advice?
http://subi-urology-iusm.blogspot.com/2007/09/add-advice-below.html
Friday, September 21, 2007. Survey Question: When did you take your urology Sub-I? Posted by Urology IUSM. I took an easy rotation, radiology, in June thinking it would give me time to study up on urology topics. Then I took my Sub-I in July and did an away rotation in August. Now I'm not sure if that was the best order. Since I wanted to stay at IU I think I would have been better off doing my away rotation before my IU rotation. That way I would have been much more prepared on my Sub-I. IU urology in J...
