In addition to our gathering on Sunday mornings, we have other gatherings both within our community and in partnership with other ministries, agencies or churches. Our missional community groups are smaller groups of people meeting weekly or bi-weekly to develop a strong sense of community and more directly engage the city in which we live. From time to time we create reading groups around books. These have included studies of Biblical topics, history, culture and the arts.

In JRR. Tolkien's writings there is a unique place where people on a difficult and challenging journey find rest, protection, friendship, and preparation to continue their task. The name of that place: Rivendell. Rivendell Fellowship gathers every Sunday morning on the campus of the University of Tulsa in the BSU building - located at 710 S College - to eat breakfast, sing, and find our place in the Story of Stories. (Breakfast is served at 10:30, some music usually starts around 11:00.).

Monday, January 15, 2007. Since it sleeted for almost an entire weekend, we are covered in ice. Our power did not go out, thank goodness! Fortunately for me, I had just checked out from the library a book of the complete works of Jane Austin and have been deliciously savoring it to the dismay of my family. Thursday, May 24, 2007. Critique of LOST Season 3 Finale. Those writers are amazing. The "land of the LOST" club has been so much fun. Everyone screaming, laughing, or gasping at all the right moments. The commercials were great breaks for intriguing conversations. I don't think that any of our Lost club meetings ended before midnight. :) We just couldn't get enough of visiting. I invite you back to the "land of the LOST" club in January 2008.
