The logo image for the Light Symposium 2015 is a photograph taken from a based blue LED module with a remote phosphor. By removing the phosphor and replacing it with a long tube on top of the module, as a canon, the projected purpluish / bluish light pattern emerges*. This is a homenage to the Nobel Prize in Physics 2014 laureates. Link to more information here. Is not advisable to remove the remote phosphor from this type of modules as is not known the effect of the blue LED light into the human eye.
