More than enough: Leaving a Legacy
http://soladeogratia.blogspot.com/2008/08/leaving-legacy.html
Because He's all I need. Tuesday, August 5, 2008. So, I was talking to a friend about how it feels leaving home and especially my home church. I'll sum it up in a song by Nichole Nordeman called "Legacy":. I don't mind if you've got something nice to say about me. And I enjoy an accolade like the rest. And you can take my picture and hang it in a gallery. Of all the "who's who's" and so-and-so's. That used to be the best at such and such. It wouldn't matter much. We all need an "atta boy" or "atta girl".

Thought Nibblets: Marriage and S-E-X
http://jenahn.blogspot.com/2008/08/marriage-and-s-e-x.html
Like eating a donut, but better. Posted by Juicebox at 10:43 AM. After going through the True Love Waits program, somehow I inadvertently developed many wayward ideals about marriage and sex. Remember when we used to sings songs like "I Promise" by Jaci Velasquez? So I promise to be true to you/To live my life in purity/As unto you/Waiting for the day/When I hear you say/Here is the one I have created/Just for you". Realistically, who would you feel completely comfortable being naked around? I read somew...

Thought Nibblets: October 2008
http://jenahn.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Like eating a donut, but better. Posted by Juicebox at 3:07 PM. You study for a major that makes money and not for one where your heart is. You work in a life-sucking job because it's a status symbol, ego booster and you get money to buy things to show you're in that strata of status (the bag, the clothes, the house, the car, the yacht). It's a never ending parasite of desiring to belong in a culture that leads to a wasted life. Posted by Juicebox at 10:29 PM. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jesus is at BC.

More than enough: Chicago - the Windy City - New Beginnings
http://soladeogratia.blogspot.com/2008/07/chicago-windy-city-new-beginnings.html
Because He's all I need. Sunday, July 13, 2008. Chicago - the Windy City - New Beginnings. Kinda hard to write this without tearing up a little.Weird how I'm about to take that next step in life when it feels like I'm just about to enter high school. People ask: "Why Chicago? Being a teacher is a huugggeee responsibility. I have the power to mold and shape children's minds. (kinda powerful-sounding, huh) What if I screw up? What if I get a child that needs love and attention and I don't give enough?
