The company operates a variety of rollers ranging from towed vibrating rollers for use behind a drott to tandem rollers for surfacing work with automatic water sprinklers and tar cutters as well as pedestrian rollers. We have a commercial division and recently completed the refurbishment of a redundant printed circuit factory to form five trade counter units principally for a builders merchant in Galashiels (of about 22,000ft ). Additionally, we have refurbished another printed circuit factory into a high specification office building for a leading pharmaceutical company (of about 25,000 ft ). While traditional tower cranes are operated from a raised cab with additional slinger signallers on the ground to manage the load, pedestrian self erecting tower cranes are directed remotely by radio control from the ground anywhere within the 40m radius of the crane. This allows the operator a greater degree of accuracy in carrying out the lift as well as eliminating the requirement for a separate slinger signaller thus providing a more efficient service.
