The Life and Times of Safety Dude: September 2013
http://safetypup.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
The Life and Times of Safety Dude. Writing at the Park. I want to write but the words escape me, like an elusive prey. Describing my days in a succinct pattern of prose. Catching the mundane acts of the day with literary extraordinaire. Pausing to look up as the children slide down the slick green tongue of the playground. It was the first time:. 1 We had gone to a state park in Oklahoma. 2 I had taken my immediate family camping outside of scout family camp. 3 I had spent at least one night camping for 3 consecutive weekends. The Life and Times of Safety Dude. Satire has been around for as long as I can remember, and as my eyes grow week, my hair turns grey, and my joints stiffen, satire gets better. My formative years of satire were spent watching Saturday Night Live. From the 70's, 80's and 90's. I will admit that they had some rough spots, or dry spells, however they find consistency during presidential campaigns. This in itself should be an indication of times to come.
