Everything Related to Fountain Pens. Huashilai 3000 Re-Do —— Bring Out That Brass! Huashilai 3000 Re-Do – Bring Out That Brass! I started noticing a common problem showing up with many, but not all of my Chinese pens. Many of those that feature a black lacquered finish over a brass barrel have begun to blister and flake. So I decided to try to remove what was coming off anyway, and see how it looked. As t. Hese are really cheap pens to begin with, I figured there was really nothing to loose. The end resu...

Reform Calligraph 0.9 | Fountain Pen Review
https://fountainpenreview.wordpress.com/2008/01/14/reform-calligraph-09
Which Kind of Nib? Reform Calligraph 0.9. Pen: Reform Calligraph 0.9. Nib: gold-plated 0.9 italic. I was toying around with the idea of getting a pen with an italic nib. However, I wasn’t quite sure if I’d enjoy the italic nib experience. Thus, I wasn’t too thrilled about the prospect of spending serious money on such a pen. Salvation came in the form of the Reform Calligraph 0.9 that I found on a casual visit to KS Gill. All this is fine and good. But how does it write? Did I just write that? No Respons...

Note Booker, Esq. A technophile lawyer rediscovers the joys of pen and paper. Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Review: Lamy Studio rollerball, stainless steel finish. As much as I love my fountain pens, sometimes they're not very convenient, so I recently decided to get a couple of rollerballs. One of them is the Lamy Studio in stainless steel finish. There are some cool things about the pen, but some things that I just haven't been able to get used to. A few views of the infamous Studio clip. The ink refill...

Note Booker, Esq. A technophile lawyer rediscovers the joys of pen and paper. Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Notebooks in the zombie apocalypse. Hey, how 'bout that pocket notebook in last Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead. Notebook, or Moleskine Cahier. Or maybe a Word notebook. Which is what I'm using right now) — and emphasizes how important it is to record events so that the world can learn from them. Anyway, I think I'd be able to record events just fine in the zombie apocalypse. I have an ample ...

I'm a lawyer surrounded by technology. Cell Phones. Email. Computerized document storage, editing, legal research. Faxes. (Used less and less, but I'll count them anyway.).
