Getting back into the feel and excitement of a race day was one of the main achievements after completing the Mossley 10k. The competitiveness of runners and the sharing of different training methods is something that just inspires you to keep motivated with running. Before this weekends Mossley 10k has gone out of the window. After a lot of runs with no knocks or niggles, I am feeling fairly confident and good to go for this Sunday. Go Tri is a low-key triathlon event, specially designed for beginners. There’s no pressure for competitors, lots of support from volunteers and at the Skipton event, there’s usually cake afterwards! So how did Go Tri end up at Skipton? Why did you want to bring Go Tri to Skipton?

Plymouth 1/2 Marathon

PLEASE PLEASE SPONSOR ME! You will be helping to save Orang-Utans! I finished the HALF MARATHON! I crossed the finish line after 2 hours 7 minutes and 51 seconds. The course was pretty hilly, somehow against what was predicted the sun shone, meaning lots of spectators which really helped. Thanks has to go to Martin for his support from his bike all the way round and to everyone else who cheered me on - it was a great help and made me go faster! The competition was won by Rona McGill. Only 1 day left!
