My blog, despite it’s chronic underuse, will turn six years old this year. My diabetes will turn seventeen. My relationship will turn one and I will turn 28. But ages and years are just numbers. As I attempt to make the journey from unhealthy to healthy, both physically and mentally, it is important to have goals that I can not only reach but continue to maintain. 30 g or less carbs/meal. 10 fruits and veges / day. Walking – 10,000 steps/day. Running – 5k by 1/2012. Bike: 10-20 mi 3 days/week. A1c below 7.0.
