Born into a large pioneering family, I was raised by my artistic mother and adventurous airline pilot-farmer father, on a remote cattle ranch in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe. It was during these formative years that I developed a passionate love for the African bush, and a keen interest in the indigenous people who inhabit it.
