Saturday, April 14, 2012. Occasionally, we come upon something a little different to do on a Saturday night. I came across an ad for roller derby in a copy of the Jackson Free Press. I knew Jake didn't care for traditional sports (football, baseball, basketball, soccer, etc.) In fact, football season is a little like torture for us non-sports followers, ha! Thursday, September 18, 2014. Lake Fun with the Merrills. Last weekend, we had a great quick visit with Lauren, Cody, and Lydia on the boat. It was so good to see them and I love how our kids love playing together. We thought this double decker pontoon boat was a hoot! We rode around and just had a picnic dinner on the boat. Monday, June 22, 2015. Father's Day Weekend at the Lake. We headed to Lake Martin over the weekend to celebrate Fathers' Day. We rented our favorite cabin again and just had the best time, as always. On Saturday morning, Mary Catherine, Scott, and Sarah Elizabeth came up and the kids had a big time on the boat and playing in the yard. MC always refers to them as "future Prom dates". Friday, November 25, 2011. Yesterday we celebrated Louis's First Thanksgiving. In honor of the occasion, he cut his first tooth! I have been off work all week for Thanksgiving Break, and since Garden Club is at my house in December I figured this would be the best time for me to decorate. I am completely finished.
