Last time this year, a call out was made for the new AAS Board members and some weeks later Bryony, Tom and myself sat down and selected the new Board, which was appointed in January 2013. A lot has happened in what now seems like both a short time ago and a long year. During the Spring and Summer, the AAS put on a Roadshow. AAS was successful in securing £5,000 AmbITion. Furniture and wood shavings. Tuesday, 7 July 2015. Is incredibly inventive and creative and uses recycled timbers to create sculptures that are very charismatic and interactive as seating or playscapes. Thomas is from Odense, Denmark and originally trained as a carpenter but found the work to repetitive and not creative enough. Monday, 26 July 2010. Best of Scottish Crafters - Furniture. There's method in my madness this week - I'm looking for a new coffee table (but preferably not to be delivered until after the visit from my nephew with his two small children).
