Directions from Ellsworth, Maine, to the Cabins:. 1 Take Route 3 to Mount Desert Island. 2 Bear right to Town Hill, then Somesville. (Rt. 102/198 South). 3 On the left is Somesville One Stop; on the right is the post office. 4 Go through the light toward Southwest Harbor. 5 At the blinking light, bear right toward Tremont. The fire station will be on your right and the Acadia Repertory Theater is on the left. 6 46 miles from the blinking light, look for a sign on the left. Birchbark- Blue and Grey cabin.
