Andrea Knits!: August 2009
http://andreaknitsitup.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
I knit. I do a lot of other things too, but this blog is about knitting. Friday, August 28, 2009. August 29, 2009 - It's all about dishcloths. About a month ago I purchased a bunch of Lily Sugar and Cream yarn from Meijer with the intention of making soap bags for our soaps sold at our etsy store. I started to develop a pattern for a soap bag, and then suddenly became bored with the idea. I foresee myself making tons more of these, and giving away half of them this christmas. Lily sugar and cream. Everyt...

I knit. I do a lot of other things too, but this blog is about knitting. Saturday, August 15, 2009. August 15, 2009. Why start a blog? I ask myself as I write this. The answer is that I really don't know. Will anyone ever see this, much less actually read it? Probably not. In actually I don't expect one visitor. Well, here I go, putting myself out there on the internet. Let's see where it goes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. August 29, 2009 - Its all about dishcloths.

Andrea Knits!: February 2015
http://andreaknitsitup.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
I knit. I do a lot of other things too, but this blog is about knitting. Monday, February 9, 2015. February 9, 2015 - wow. So I kind of forgot about this blog. it's been about 5 1/2 years since I've written anything in it. I only remembered it when I added my new website (andreachoppCMT.com) to my Google Analytics account, and noticed that this blog gets a fair amount of traffic on a consistent basis. Come back soon, as I am going to start posting knitting experiments regularly. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Cross Country Volvo: OREGON!!!!!
http://crosscountryvolvo.blogspot.com/2010/04/oregon.html
Follow us as we cross the country with our dog and our volvo! Friday, April 16, 2010. I could live amongst the Redwoods in a tree house for the rest of my days and be very happy – I was drawing up plans and getting ready to begin construction but we had to sail on and head north – into the wet, wet, wet pacific northwest. Our first stop was Ashland – to see the amazingly talented Chinasa Ogbuagu in the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s. Production of Lynn Nottage’s RUINED. The city of roses! How good the foo...

Cross Country Volvo: SOUTH DAKOTA! BADLANDS!!
http://crosscountryvolvo.blogspot.com/2010/04/south-dakota-badlands.html
Follow us as we cross the country with our dog and our volvo! Sunday, April 25, 2010. We wanted to make it to the Badlands before dark and see Mount Rushmore and maybe the Crazy Horse Monument so we had a lot of driving ahead of us. This is what most of the drive looked like. We made it Rushmore, put Crazy Horse on our the “next time” list and got into the Badlands with enough time for a scenic drive and were able to enjoy the most gorgeous sunset yet as we set up camp. This path looks REALLY hazardous!

Cross Country Volvo: BAY AREA!
http://crosscountryvolvo.blogspot.com/2010/04/bay-area.html
Follow us as we cross the country with our dog and our volvo! Friday, April 16, 2010. After we wound our way up the gorgeous California coast we found ourselves in the Bay area. Over the years a lot of our close friends have relocated to the west coast and one of the best parts of this trip is that we are getting to visit these great people in their great cities (as opposed to waiting for them to have to come back through NYC for one reason or another… which is what we normally seem to do.). The weather ...

Cross Country Volvo: Sean's adventures in SoCal
http://crosscountryvolvo.blogspot.com/2010/04/seans-adventures-in-socal.html
Follow us as we cross the country with our dog and our volvo! Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Sean's adventures in SoCal. While in LA, we took an architectural driving tour. First, we visited the Gamble house by Greene and Greene Architects. This amazing craftsman house was full of woodworking details. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to take pictures outdoors. Mexico and San Diego were both really beautiful. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sean Lewis Art Blog. Sean Lewis art portfolio.

Cross Country Volvo: CITY OF ANGELS!
http://crosscountryvolvo.blogspot.com/2010/04/city-of-angels.html
Follow us as we cross the country with our dog and our volvo! Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Neither of us (nor Nash, to our knowledge) have ever been to California and we were very excited to get on I-40 and make our way to the Golden State. As we were traveling out of beloved Arizona we decided to take one of the "Historic Route 66" detours - it added time to the drive but it was well worth it! I digress, our first stop in CA was Los Angeles. It was so great. Our first day in LA we went over to Pasedena and...

Cross Country Volvo: LAND OF GIANTS!
http://crosscountryvolvo.blogspot.com/2010/04/land-of-giants.html
Follow us as we cross the country with our dog and our volvo! Friday, April 16, 2010. Our next major stop was the Redwoods! We headed north on 101 and cruised through Sonoma. Since we were doing a lot of driving and wanted to make it to the Redwoods with time to explore we didn’t do a tour of a lot of vineyards – but we did stop at one. We stopped at the Jaxon Keys Winery. We got a nice bottle of Cabernet and got back in the car. We got a motel 6 in Arcata for the night - just north of. There are also a ...
