I start traveling around the world 1978. First trip was from Hamburg to Brasil on MS "Santa Rosa". The motto is loud and clear. End of 1999, I quit my job and the Ghana adventure starts. Maybe a stupid idea but I don’t want to miss this experience.

June 6, 2015. Goodness, we’ve been neglecting our blog! Perhaps that has something to do with my 1st-year teacher status and your 1st-year graduate student status. Nevertheless, it is now summer, and I am throwing down the Seesterface Gauntlet. What is that, you ask? A new post every week this summer, from each of us. Delicious food/drinks, awesome crafty projects, pics of our dogs, whatever. Mic drop. Gauntlet thrown! And now back to grading (which I’m clearly avoiding…). May 30, 2014. 1/2 tsp. salt.
