Sunday, February 14, 2010. The first ever tour of Oman kicks off here today, it’s our equivalent of the Tour de France. It’s all very exciting! I really wanted to go with the kids and watch but unfortunately, it starts at 6pm. The authorities and organisers have already warned people to get to the corniche (Arabic word for water front)early and so we will miss the start up.
