Several weeks ago the doorbell rang, and Daniel opened it to find the following note, along with a bag of Goldfish crackers with a name spelled on them. After much brainstorming, he settled on the idea of answering via a fishbowl. He and Lisa found the bowl at DI, and he put a note in the bottom that said "Shore! He then filled the bowl with blue jello and Swedish Fish, and left it on her doorstep. They had fun taking pictures.

An Account Of My Hut". Thursday, November 27, 2014. Friday, November 7, 2014. A couple of weeks ago 少年ナイフ (Shonen Knife) played a show in Boise on their U.S. tour. I never imagined I'd get to see a famous Japanese band in Boise, but somehow it happened. Here are a few photos. I got there early, not knowing how crowded it would be, and it turned out to be not so packed, so I managed to get right up front. Afterwards they signed autographs, so I got to meet them and get them to sign a CD for me.

An Account Of My Hut". Friday, December 27, 2013. You Raise Me Up. On October 2, Lisa, Yumiko, and I went to see Josh Groban. It was really good. The man is an amazing singer. This was the first stop on his current tour. His first tour show ever was in Boise, so he wanted to start here for old times' sake. For the first show on the tour, things went very smoothly. They had all the lighting and sound and everything worked out very well. We managed to get some pretty good seats, too. It was a lot of fun!

An Account Of My Hut". Friday, January 23, 2015. Mission (January 21, 2015). In General Conference, on October 6, 2012, President Monson announced that the minimum age for women to serve as missionaries was changed from 21 to 19. Lisa, just barely 17 at the time, was ecstatic. She spent the rest of conference making one of the longest paper chains ever, counting down the days until she could serve. Then we took a few photos. And went to the MTC. For the start of her 18-month adventure. Good luck, Lisa!
