Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. Not Much To Say. Well, it has been several months again since I posted anything. and that last post was actually talking about a nice op-ed piece by a cousin. Right now, I don't have much to say. Either that or I have too much to say. I doubt much of what I could have posted or what I had been thinking of would have been of much value to you over the past while. But, based on the referenced conversation, wh...

Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. There probably isn't a person in the United States who hasn't heard about the upcoming election next week. There also probably isn't a person in the United States who hasn't been exposed to the vitriol coming from those who oppose California's Proposition 8, which will be decided by California's voters next week. To redefine law passed by the voice of the people. We are not foolish. It's a test. Get it?

Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. Yeah, I know. it has been a real long time since I have posted anything. Give me a good paper cut and pour lemon juice on it, why don't you? Maybe I'll get around to talking a little about some of the stuff I've been thinking and experiencing the past several months. And maybe I won't. What I want to talk to you about is of great importance to many fathers and sons across the nation. That was put out in 2005.

Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. This Space for Rent. Well, not really. I just felt the need for some sort of eye catching title to this post. But, I won't turn down money if you want to send large (or moderate) sums of it to me with absolutely no strings attached. I considered "Well, Here We Are! But I think I used that before, or something similar and well, it just has nothing to do with this blog post. It has been a long while since I t...

Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. Like a lot of things in life, blogging seems to be a trend. Maybe it is waning as more and more people are spending their internet / technology addiction on social media like Facebook. There is a saying, very true may I add, about all evil needing to succeed is for good men to do nothing. I am finished doing nothing. I am not a fence sitter, and I will not embrace the wickedness. More to come, so stay tuned.

Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. All kids like to play tag. They run and chase and laugh, taking turns of who is it. Here in the virtual blog world, a game similar to it exists. Someone comes up with a list of questions and then goes to a friend's blog and "tags" them. To become un-it, the blog author has to answer the questions and then "tag" someone else. We don't want to hear the most embarrassing moment of your life was when one of you...

Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. Rats and Sinking Ships. There are a number of superstitions amongst those who ply the seas. Some are substantiated. Some are unsubstantiated. Some seem based off a reasonable premise. Some seem rather silly. Just like if the sunrise is red in the east, if the winds are blowing from west to east, there is no guarantee you'll run into foul weather does it? Is included, it is all good, right? What do you think...

Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. If you thought this post was in any way related to that hit song by the Little River Band, "Reminiscing," you would be wrong. Great song that it is by a band that was arguably one of the first great imports from Australia, I'm thinking more in lines of a posting about one's own personal reminiscing about one's own past. The song that was playing in the background near the end of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" w...

Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. Of the Folly of The Learned. We live in the dispensation of the fulness of times. As prophets and apostles, both modern and ancient, have prophesied, great things have been, are, and will be seen in these, the latter days. All people in the nations where His Church is allowed who have faith in The Lord Jesus Christ may repent, be baptized and receive the Gift of The Holy Ghost by the proper authority. Throu...

Paper Cuts from the Blunt Edge. The thoughts of a person at the center of his own little universe. A Bill of What? Have you ever thought that the focus of your endeavors was sometimes on the wrong thing? My guess is the answer is yes. I'm not an expert in the area, but I'll hazard to venture the postulation that every thinking individual has and does. What an individual does with that thought, or how much the individual ponders on it, varies. How about that bill of materials you are working off of? Anywa...
