Just another WordPress.com weblog. Technically, It’s Not My Fault. Extending Acrostic Poetry Into Content Learning. Double Entry Diaries, Learning Logs, and Love That Poetry. I absolutely love a class that teaches me something I can walk straight in to my classroom and use immediately. All of the information from the Double entry, Logs, and Love that Poetry does just that. I read it, I can understand how to implement it and it excites me. That excitement will carry over to my students. This is Just to Say.

Poetry | My Language Arts Blog
https://danaeudyla.wordpress.com/poetry
My Language Arts Blog. Just another WordPress.com weblog. This is Just to Say. I have a poetry center during my guided reading. The students have to read a poem, respond to it, and them write their own poem in the same format. I would like to have different ideas for my poetry center. Currently, I have a poem a month and we study that particular kind all month long. Is a month too long for one type of poem? No Responses to “Poetry”. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. My Language Arts Blog. Just another WordPress.com weblog. I am closed or open. I wonder when the switch will be turned because I want to shine bright light. I hear a click from the lightening when Ben Franklin discovered electricity. I see brightness from a light bulb invented by Thomas Edison. I want to be complete so I will come on and be bright, otherwise I will not work. I am open or closed. I pretend that I am always energetic because I am so bright. I am closed or open. Hanna Banana's Blog. October 14, 2009. 8212; hannabananasblog @ 12:10 am. My kids cannot get enough of personal notebooking! I had parent conferences this past week, and every parent told me how excited their child has been about writing. I realized that success is what you make it. I reached students that I never thought would like the ideas of journaling. I can’t wait to see their growth throughout the year. It says: This KEY will unlock places you never knew existed…come on a journey with me! Before g...

My Language Arts Blog. October 13, 2009 at 10:09 pm ( Uncategorized. Swinging reminds me of childhood. Swinging reminds me of ice cream on a hot summers day. When I hear that familiar truck tune, I jump off. Swinging reminds me of feeling free. I can feel my bare feet in the tall grass and silky dirt. Pole- to make the pole. Chain, chain, chain…. to make swing chains. Swing, swing, swing… to make swing seats. Grass, grass, dirt, grass…. to make ground. Breeze, breeze, breeze…. to make the wind.

I Poem | My Language Arts Blog
https://bethanygilbertla.wordpress.com/i-poem
My Language Arts Blog. My updated I-Poem. I like my first I-Poem better as a poem, but this one is more appropriate to share with my students because it follows a similar format of what I am going to ask them to do. I Am The Statue of Liberty. I am The Statue of Liberty. I live in New York Harbor. I wonder where all those tired immigrants are now. I hear ships in the harbor sailing away from the city. I see tall buildings sitting on glassy water. I want freedom and democracy for my new country. I took th...
